So you can play as Sweden?
The game looks really great.

Ps: Linkopping is actually spelled Linköping and are a little more to the south.

I think pocus was just showing picture of sweden in the snow, cause upper left hand corner has United Kingdom/ British flag.
Quote General Lee Gettysburg movie,
"Do you see, General, there is the great trap, to be a good soldier you must love the army, to be a good commander you must be ready to order the death of the thing you love. We don't fear our death. But if this war goes on and on and the men die and the price gets ever high. We are prepared to lose some of us, but we are never prepared to lose all of us. We are adrift here in a sea of blood and I want it to end. I want this to be the final battle".

Hopefully no innuendo associated with a pc game and his...pants?
I don't think I can afford the game what does that.

On the top row of the screen shot there is an icon for supplies showing textiles, crates and a rifle. The manufacturies in the icon panel at the bottom shows these items being produced seperately i.e the arsenal producing ammunition, the textile plant producing textiles and the factory producing crates.

Are these supplies tracked seperately - hence the reason to have different factories - or is the prodcution lumped together in one stockpile of supplies regardless of what they produce?

Hi
I think the are to different things. The icon on the top probably represent War Supplies, like the ones used in current AGEOD games, while the textiles and good production you see on the bottom part look like commercial civilian goods (remember VGN will have a economic and commercial system) not military supplies.
That's my bet at least! :)

The symbols you see are the main game Assets of your nation. You need them for most actions. Some are not necessarily produced by factories, while others obviously are. :cool:

We have:

* Gold: state funds. The money used by your nation for its military budget mostly
* $$: private funds. The money used in the economy (e.g. you can use it to build factories and railraods, not state funds here)
* Coal
* Steel
* Goods
* Recruits (with a subdivision between officers and conscripts)

For instance, a warship will need almost all assets except private funds...while a car factory will need private funding, coal, steel and goods (but no state funds or recruits)

:thumbsup:

Yes, it does (as well as rubber), but it will not be such a 'strategic' asset like Coal (due to the era covered by the game)...although you shall need some for chemicals, cars, aircrafts and even warships with the latest techs development :cool:
