Breakthrough phase when no breakthrough

Tue Jun 22, 2010 12:53 pm

This may be a complete misunderstaning of the breakthrough since no one else is asking. But sometimes after a battle I find I'm in the breakthrough phase and I have to hit the "Execute Movement" button to continue so I can activate my next army.

What am I missing? Bug? Or can I move units during this phase? Something else?

You can move units during this phase, namely available Corps in the Reserves of the activated Army, which are automatically put in a movable stack.

If you click to select that detachment, you'll see that you can move it.

Stacks that can perform a breakthrough have a pink flare color.

Breaktrhoughs already planned during battles are displayed on the map as planned moves. The other pink stacks can be dragged and dropped as usual. This is the special Breakthrough sub-phase...
