WEGO mode

Sat Mar 07, 2009 8:24 am

Hi,
I just want to know all the differences between Wego mode and army by army activation mode :
-no reaction or army coordination. it's ok ?
- but what about interceptions ?
- Which order for the mouvement of armies ? Principal army first or not ?
- If a stack enters into an hexagone where there is an ennemy stack, the both are stopped or not ? Is Overrun possible ?
- What about moving back against one loss ?
- is the Strategic retreat (concept of the boardgame) possible ?
- is a grand offensive stopped if the ennemy attacks the armies of that grand offensive ?
Thank you in advance for all your answers.

Yes, WEGO mode has no reaction and no coordination.

Interceptions are allowed also in WEGO mode (they are fundamental in 1914!)

In WEGO mode all movements are together, in Initiative order.

Yes, if you enter an area where there's an enemy stack for which your opponent has scheduled a move that has not been performed yet, well... that move is not done. Overrun is possible according to the rules, of course.

Yes, possible. Depending on how you plan the retreat priorities in the Battle window.

This feature is not present.

Mmm... no. The stop of the Grand Offensive can be done only by you (Offensives window, see the related button).
