Program locking up

Sun Jun 13, 2010 12:09 pm

I use Avira which I thought was a good program however I cannot
turn it off. My only option is deletion?

running down the list:

Avira
Malware detection

are the two programs that protect against virus
I have no idea how to tell them that WWI is ok to run.

Do you know how?

Hi there, I use avast and it was causing WWI gold to freeze, I happened to have FSstart from when I play Ill 2 Sturmovik, so I thought I would try it with WWI gold, anyway Fstart basically strips down programs running in the background including Avast for me and I think it will stop Avira for you....

I have no freezes now after I have run fstart, If you cant find Fstart Im sure there are plently of other programs that do something similar...

Hope this helps
