Unable to construct ANY units

Hello everyone,

I have faced a strange problem in my WW1 game. From
the Nov-Dec 1914 period I can no longer build any units at all, taking into
account that there is no strike, rebellion or revolution in progress, as well as I
began the Grand campaign twice and both times I faced that dilemma. I am playing
for Russia and when I carry on, that problem still persists. Maybe the problem
lies in a low RP level but as I get more than ten RP in Jan-Feb 1915 I still can
not build even a single unit! Could you please offer me some solutions to that

I'm thinking you might have run out of money. The budgeting process is very complex. Look at the budget summary screen and try to figure out if you have any cash left over after all the other stuff you are spending money on (research, munitions production, don't forget it costs money to move your fleets). You might want to get a copy of the board game rules, I find that helps figure out what the heck is going on.

Thanks, I think that is the problem( it is -96 in my case), but if the Budget is made up of EPs and RPs, then why is it negative? I am trying to bring it to the surplus by spending the minimum EPs on research and producing less art. ammunition but it still doesn't change over the period, what is the solution?

You may have run out of money, wait some turns, it will build up and then try to build again.

Meanwhile let me entice you to check out TEAW, the old-new game designed by Phil Thib based on WW1 Gold but using the AGE engine and also several changes.
Do check it out, i have played WW1 Gold for over a year and a half as Germany and Austria and Russia and thoroughly enjoyed it, been BETA testing for TEAW for the past 3-4 months and it is a great game, irons out a lot of flaws in WW1-Gold.
