PC Gamer UK (77%): "A strategic delight"

Wed Aug 27, 2008 2:03 am

A very funny and still accurate review by Tim Stone, I must say the mark is excellent for a main stream PC games magazine.

"King George II will have my guts for garter. In the space of a couple of month-long turns I've lost 8,000 of his finest redcoats and wrecked Britain's chances of kicking the Frenchies out of 'New France'. Like an idiot I'd assumed my mega-stack of crack riflemen, grenadiers and artillery could stomp round Canada like a Godzilla-size grizzy bear. I'd forgotten that AGEOD games don't work that way."

NB: If more reviewers were as fair in their judgement and pleasant to read as Tim Stone, I would certainly buy more PC magazines. :cwboy:
