Hi Lod, it seems .rar software has a 40 day period before it has to be purchased but .zip extractors come free with Windows. Is this the case?
Are there advantages to using the .rar format?

Cheers, Chris

One advantage is up to 40% more compression ratios, resulting in less time spent downloading and also less hard drive storage space required. Only reason I don't use it more myself is unfamiliarity.

The only advantage to me is that it appears in my right-click menu in explorer.

I almost never open the rar software directly :o

I am playing FIW campaign with french side ,and the line infantery remplaces dont work witch Troupes of Marine (Canadian INFANTERY), only witch french infantery. Is it correct?.
Before update 080909 this was not happening.
Another bug its that Baron of DESKAU not dissapears and Montcalm has appeared.
Both are in the game.

Yes, Canadian Infantry regulars are a different replacement. I thought I put them in, but that may be in next patch... :o

I've struggled with Dieskau removal. I know it was historical, but I'm wondering if it is possibly valid for him to stay? [It is currently happening by probability, maybe needs to end with 'certainty' event?]
I'll look at this again.

Thank you for your report! :coeurs:
