Cumulative HotFix for 1.01d 080802

To address:
  • Merchant Attrition: found to be from harsh weather [Snow, Frozen, Blizzard]
  • Error in 1812 Events: Cochrane's Fleet [seen as multiple Cochranes]
  • Sea Lanes in the Halifax neighborhood - corrected paths taken to port
  • Script errors [unit types] in 1755 Campaign {Spanish Fleet}
  • Error in 1755 Campaign event: Cherokee War
  • Tracks terrain missing from certain regions in 1755 series, Dunmore's War
  • Burgoyne moves too slowly!
  • British in South event in 1775-76 campaigns was including Florida
  • Strategic City locations corrected in 1755 Campaign

= Corrected Fleet Unit types in 1812 Cochrane's Fleet
= NavalInterdiction links added to Halifax region to block shipping from Bay of Fundy[/INDENT]

[INDENT]= Corrected Cherokee War entry event for 1755 Campaign
= Burgoyne [1775] no longer has Slow Mover ability
= Added tracks to varios regions [1755, 56 Montacalm, 56 Roi Louis, 59 Annus Mirablis, 1774 Dunmore's War]
= 1755 Campaign - corrected Spain at War: Spansh Fleet units
= American Revolution series: British in South event no longer counts units in Florida [Sumter, Marion appear][/INDENT]

= Added Fort Charles (NH) to Strategic City location {Saint Stephen, NH}[/INDENT]

Notes:
  • Merchant losses from privateers and other sea battles will still occur.
  • Attrition and Cohesion losses will still occur for new merchants when moving.
    {This should work OK with saved games, but wll not recover 'already lost' fleet strength.}
  • Event correction will only be effectve if you restore game to previous turn
  • Sea Lanes correction will be effective upon completely exiting and restarting the Wars in America game
To Install:
  1. Download the attached file
  2. Extract into your Wars in America folder
  3. Answer "yes" to overwrite [if you are not asked, you are in the wrong place!]

Do the hotfixes imply anything about longer times between actual patches? Or will the patches continue at their current schedule?

No worries, the patches will come, but not before Pocus is back from his holidays. :cwboy:

lodilefty, since he is such a kind guy, did not want to let you wait however and created the HotFix as these issues could be fixed without releasing a new binary. :)
