March/April '66. Spring arrives and the British look west across the lake from the small stockade at fort Erie with much trepidation at the task ahead.
Ecuyer managed to reach fort Pitt but only a few hardy souls finished the journey alongside him; none will campaign with him this year.

April/May '66. A turn so quiet, I can only post a picture of Indians gazing at the falls.

May/June '66. Another quiet turn. Indian raiders at Long Point Bay manage to force a British schooner to retreat back to the Erie stockade.

This is certainly the lull before the storm!

June/July '66. Detroit falls to an amphibious expedition led by Bradstreet out of fort Erie.
Only the burnt timbers of the fort remain, but Bradsteet's men find some shelter amongst the habitants of the settlement.

The British engineer Montresor starts work on a stockade in the region.

July/August '66. Bouquet makes a last attempt at Chalahgawtha as the Indian ability to resist British attacks appears to be waning -
although Pontiac once again threatens Detroit and Custaloga leads a small, but fairly strong force against the small British garrison at Michilimackinac.
The British are unable to reach the strategic region of Caskakias however and the Indians will surely retake it.

August/September '66. Bouquet drives off a force of braves under Shingas in Scioto before destroying the village of Chalahgawtha and a warband led by Kiashuta.

The last objective has fallen to the British. The Indians must take control of Caskakias, or defeat a British garrison this month to avoid the sudden death rule.

Bradstreet survives another month of Pontiac’s siege against the newly built stockade. Pontiac’s force is large, but tiring.

September/October '66. Browning is able to keep Custaloga’s Indians from retaking the settlement at Michilimackinac.

It's a victory of little significance though; as the British control all the required strategic regions and objectives, they win by sudden death,
although the Indians actually have the slightly higher VP count.

A very tight contest in the end. The big mistake made by the Indians was to ignore the important strategic region of Caskakias,
even though the British found themselves unable to defend the region. Ignore is the wrong word, as Carnium actually forgot about it!
An easy mistake to make as there were no structures or British units there.

I will release a patch at the weekend, hopefully, with around 10 changes. Then we will swap sides and post a new AAR.
The patch will give the British the ability to build bateaux at fort Pitt (as long as the Ohio villages have been subdued),
and improved events to maintain structures in the Caskakias region.
