Double bug - 1778-1792 campaign "Onward to The Valley Forge"

Fri Sep 17, 2010 4:39 pm

A picture is worth a thousand words

So two bugs there :

- Obvious bug, the text file is missing
- Not so obvious - the Spanish did NOT take Darthmund. It is still MINE, MINE, MINE ! But maybe that is WAD.
- Note that I keep the schooners. And the Spanish have none. Or maybe the one they won is in Manchac.

Yet another bug on the same campaign : next turn. France and Spain declares war ONCE again. Not that I am at war with Spain since at least 6 monthes (see previous picture) and with France since one year. That the army of Rochambeau you see.

Bugs carry on ! Benedict Arnold decided to betray the Americans YET AGAIN the following turn. Only I had his face on a red background before, on an orange background now.

Got an evt_nam_Winnebago_WinQuarters in the text log.

Guess this campaign did not get as tested as the others, since people prefer to start a war the first day and not in the middle of it :)

OK, I stop here now. The AI decided to stop moving its units around, except its boats, so Rochambeau is in the middle of Berkshire Hills in Winter and will let his army die, and the Spanish in Iberville refuse to move and go back to Nouvelle Orléans.

In Deep South, the Americans were a couple turns away about to definitely destroy my army there, but decided to stop their move for some reason.

It has been about 6 turns like this, but I did not notice immediately (or was not sure what happened).

Hmm, quite a mess. :o

This scenario has not been looked at since the original! :(
I guess it's time to take a look at it...
