PBEM files for BOA2 WIA

Sat Sep 27, 2008 12:37 am

I have been trying to set up a PBEM game and have been following the rather ambiguos manuals, both booklet and cdrom version. They tell me that a file will be created in the saves folder, but so far I have not found one! I have followed the manuals word for word but cannot find the file, I look in the saves folder and it is always empty, but I can always load a saved game!!! what is going on, can anybody help??????

What operating system are you running?

Is it Vista?

Hi, I understand your concerns with Vista... :bonk:

Bad news: I'm setting up a new PC with Vista
Good news: I'll be able to help more.. ;)

Try this:

Look in your 'Documents/Saved Games and see if it's hiding there...

Better: So far, I am finding that avoiding Program Files seems to sidestep the 'lost saves'

I installed my AGEOD games in C:\AGEOD\<gamename> and the saves end up where they are 'supposed to'
Always ask yourself: "Am I part of the Solution?" If you aren't, then you are part of the Problem!
