Bad English? Unknown Acronym? Or Just me?

Tue Mar 31, 2009 8:24 am

Ok,

What the heck is:

New GBRland Provincials

I have just received them in 1755-1763 and for the life of me I cannot figure GBRland. GBR and I think of Great Britain. They arrive in Boston.

Could it be Greater Boston Regularland? hehehe

Am I just having a brain fart?

Thx,
Paul W.

The consequence of mass copy-paste-replace function in Excel DB we use :D
We wanted to replace the ENG acronyl by the GBR one to be more compatible with future games...but thus was supposed to change only the tags, not the names....Our mistake. Thank for spotting

Wierd!

I've searched the DB, and can't find any "GBRland" text

Is that the exact text you find?

Hah! It's in the units file [names for autoraised units] :bonk:

Unit 215GBR_Unit_Name_GBR_MAProv.uni

Patch is in beta now, we'll try to get this into the official patch!

This is an amusing show, but I'm not that a fan. Once in a while I find it funny. :)

Man, such a response! Great that it will make the next fix.
