1812 Campaign Game Reinforcement Glitch

Fri Nov 08, 2019 10:44 pm

In August - Oct 1814 Lt. Col. MacDonell with a number of foot and artillery units arrives in Quebec City (Kebec); however, these reinforcements are duplicated and arrive turn after turn after this. I've tested this three times. This is a superb scenario and it's a shame to see it marred with a glitch like this. Surely a quick patch can rectify this?

Events file for 1812 campaign seems not have been updated with last version DB (1.10e).
Did you notice others duplicated reinforcements in Kebec in July and August 1814 ?

I can provide a fix for it if you want.

Just the same units over and over, along with MacDonell as well. It may include July as well, I'm not sure as I started noticing it in August and every turn after that until the end of the game.
A fix would be well-received thanks.

Go to WIA/Events folder.
Copy 1812 Campaign.sct and paste in an easy to find location as a backup.

Unzip attached file and copy paste 1812 Campaign.sct into WIA/Events folder
One file will be overwritten

1812 Campaign.zip

Hi Bohémond, alteration put in and I'll confirm how it works when I get to those late-game reinforcements in a new game soon.
Thanks again.
