Especially in this case since there are multiple UID entries causing the crash. The Delete step ensures that all UIDs are deleted.

Yes, thanks Gray, for the clarification...

I know what assume spells :(

The main bug on previous patch is coming from XP/vista compatibility :tournepas so we test the new patch on the 2 Operating system and it's quite long.

I'm sorry, patch will be ready tomorrow morning (french time).

I was quite surprised the beta patch got released so quickly, maybe sometimes you guys are a bit too enthusiastic (though I personally dont mind helping with the testing, it could piss off other people). No problem if patch gets delayed a couple of days.

Many thanks. It worked like a charm without even reinstalling the game - but I reinstalled to be sure everything was ok.
Strange thing is that the updater reports that a newer update is available (1.0.1.2)

You just have click on update during the few minutes we made a test on autoupdate :siffle:

If you have click on yes you have reinstall the same patch :niark:

Ah interesting. Well I got the message that Fort Carillon construction was a failure as the enemy has occupied the territory

p.s.
There are EP in this scenario but no Military or Diplomatic options. Is this WAD ?

No, EP calculation is always activate : is seems better if we want to improve scenarios with options for example.

So the options are missing from this scenario then.
Also there is a missing text string : evt_nam_angoumois

This scenario is really great. A nice preparation for the grand campaigns :king:

In fact we implement options only in campaign, scenarios are generally too short for options interest.
But, we let EP calculation everywhere because some new ideas of options can appeared and be "short scenarios" friendly.

v1.01b is the latest patch.

Was this when using the Main Menu Update option? If so, there may still be an issue...

Then don't have a look at the French version which is full of mispelled words... :(

Thanks for watching my back! :)

I ran spell check on the entire English text colum. Fixed more typos and such...

I am NOT responsble for the spelling of names... :niark:

auto updater

Thu Jul 17, 2008 2:32 am

FYI I purchased BoA2 today and downloaded it on my office machine (xp) and my home machine (VISTA) the instalations went fine but in both cases the auto updated failed. It couldn't find a dll. Manual updating worked fine though.

I downloaded it, then patched but basically anything would call it to crash, so deleted about everything and now just playing it as the way it came out and its working great, knock on wood.

I believe I posted it in the technical section, either way I just deleted the game files and re-installed it and left it as vanilla.
