Colours in Forces List

Sat Jul 28, 2012 8:16 pm

Hi, I'm just starting out with the game (enjoying it so far!) but I can't find the answer to one question, despite searching the manual and forum: in the Forces List page of the Ledger, what do the colours denote for each unit entry? I thought at first, that red meant British, white (perhaps) Colonial and so on. But that doesn't seem to be the case. I've seen 'red' colonial units and 'white' British ones. And vice versa. Is a given Ledger entry's colour down to some other factor than nationality? Thanks.

The Nationality color, red for British, blue for Colonial, shows active stacks. White coloration shows a stack whose leader is inactive, that is, the leader has command penalties including not being able to change into offensive stance.
Find a white bar to check this out, click on the rank button at the far right, the one which takes you to the unit. It will take you to a leader with the brown 'flag' showing leader penalty.
