OOB and UNITs used!

I'm examining NCP 1813- Struggle of Nations starting OOB.
I'm using LGE_Setup_scenar_1813r file for sake of sempliticy.

I noticed that most units here do not match the proper year type!

Example for Davould 13th Corps have been used:
uni_FRA_MixteBde10 > 1 rgt leger à 3 bat + 1 rgt ligne à 3 bat (1815)
uni_FRA_MixteBde12 > 1 rgt leger à 3 bat + 1 rgt ligne à 3 bat (1808-1812)
uni_FRA_MixteBde13 > 1 rgt leger à 2 bat + 1 rgt ligne à 3 bat (1808-1812)
uni_FRA_LineBde14 > 2 rgt ligne à 3 bat (1815)

Now, any of units used match the proper year type, (1813), that although a mess of unit models for 1813 are available, including those with corresponding number of rgt/bat.

Example:

1 rgt leger à 2 bat + 1 rgt ligne à 2 bat (1813-1814)
1 rgt leger à 3 bat + 1 rgt ligne à 2 bat (1813-1814)

While expect some clarifications I wonder what type of units is better to use for the mod to NCP 1813- Struggle of Nations.......Personally I'm tempted to use 1813 models although that will force me to re-write completely the OOB.

I'll reworked 1813 Campaign OOB introducing proper years unit when going after my mod to Struggle of Nations........

I did to exemined files related to 1812, as I did not tried playing that Campaign yet.

$mdl_WUR_Inf2|2 $mdl_WUR_Lit0|1

There is not an exact unit type for 2 inf regts model type inf2 which is what is wanted.

UNI file for that unit or other missing units could be added, according to the routine for edit add new units.

I'll take charge to rework setup file for default NCP 1813 campaign.
You could do same with 1812!
Guess before going after modding a campaign it's better to have corrected files at hand.

You might first inquire of AGEod, where the absolute latest DB files may be... Obviously, the ones in the NCP_DB.zip file which you must have downloaded, do not contain the latest files or the actual scenarios in the game itself would not work!

I know first-hand that the official Database files are usually behind somewhat in actually containing the latest files.

This could save you a lot of reduntant work if they could locate the correct files and update the database for you.

Just a suggestion, but a big one....

As YOU can see Pocus is aware I'm posting version of NCP_DB.zip files that I'm checking and correcting,: I'm posting these files will the recommendation that AGEOD team members of someone very experienced with them HAVE TO CHECK THEM ANYWAY!

I also exchanged more PMs with PhilThib and Pocus: they are aware of my modding projects over 1813 Campaigns, (PhilThib offered indications and.... supports, although, This last, suborditated to few times he has, beeing very busy with official projects debvelopment) and they encouraged me to go after use of NCP_DB.zip file:

Supposing RAFIKI has red the threat before deciding to move it, I have to assume AGEOD NCP development and Improvement Team is aware of the trouble and trust warnings over NCP_DB.zip pack!

I further investigated OOB issues.
For unit composition withing NCP more parameters are important.
In particular Model Type columns, in Unit.csv file determine which models for units are to be used.
Then Model Type attributes and raitings are edited in detail into Models.csv file: here data for basic units as regiments are enlisted!

Note:
I'm referring to intermediate csv file for sake of semplicity.
It's clear editor have to work over Excel file, save them as csv file, and then process them to NCP supported file by CSVSplitter utility.
