Events missed notification

Wed Oct 08, 2008 5:55 pm

I noticed all events, with a line notification, (Column F) are actually not notified in the game when no region is reported into column I, (Column I=NULL) for that event.

Examples from Peninsular War Campaign:

evt_nam_FRA_GuardRemove1809

evt_nam_FRA_Vittoria1809

evt_nam_FRA_RemoveOct1811

evt_nam_FRA_RemoveOct1811

and many more.

A suggestion to have line events properly notified in the game while not region-event was encoded will help me to try a fix to Peninsular War Campaign, and to adjust same troubles within My mods too.

Thanks in advance for suggestions!

Most, if not all of these events involve multiple or variable region locations.

So, if you specify a region, where would you like to look?

Try GenMsg instead.

Indeed I noticed adding a GenMsg command line on top of the DescEvent comm. line the trouble is fixed! :neener:

What to do now with default Peninsular War scenario?
May I go after this solution there too?

OK for me, sounds a good fix. Thanks for your work. Once you have a prepared and stable package, with the list of changes you did so we can check, send it to us!
