No RUS at shopus.ageod.com?

Thu Jul 21, 2011 4:29 am

I was thinking of buying Revolution Under Siege as a birthday gift to myself, but when I click on the link in the sidebar, it tells me "An error occurred in the database" - http://shopus.ageod.com/fiche.html?REF=727030

Also, it appears under "New Games" but not under "Ageod", but that's no big deal.

I suppose I could always get it at GamersGate, but I've bought all my other AGE games through Ageod, and I'm a creature of habit. And of course I'd rather not buy it in Euros or Pounds. :neener: I'm in no hurry (don't have much time to play lately anyway), but I figured you might appreciate a heads up on this.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Don't hurry, as Ageod know this since a month.. But maybe you're the some who already told them.

Nope, wasn't me. I figured it was a known issue, but I didn't see any other posts about it, so I thought I should speak up just in case. Thanks for the reply - I will wait until the issue is resolved.

This is due to the new webshop classification of products. I'll see what can be done, but the man handling the stuff is on vacation and I need to see that with him after my own ;)

Yes, I asked Gamersgate to put it on sale during August. I can't do it myself here, as I am away on vacation

Oh, that's great news. Guess I'll wait then. I like to buy directly from the developers, but those sales are hard to resist. Looks like almost every other Paradox and Ageod game is on sale over at GG right now - I just bought Rise of Prussia and WW1 Gold - too bad I'm too busy to play them!

Great news....but is the old AGEOD shop more or less dead?
I kinda prefer to buy it directly from you ... to keep the memory from the (good) old days alive :coeurs:

No, the old AGEOD shop still work...the only trouble I have is that I don't have the time and the human resources to make it a bit more lively and active....If I spend too much time preparing promotions and sales, this is time that does not go into game development... :bonk:

I love getting games from the Aegod store. I had an issue recently and needed to re-download Rise of Prussia. After emailing their customer service and after they verified my serial # (which took about a day at the very most), they sent me a new link to re-download the game.

That was by far the best experience I have had so far and I have bought games from pretty much all the websites and some that are known for great customer service, haven't even done as well as Aegod has.

Add to that the non-DRM and I wish I could buy all my games here.

It looks like it is fixed now. I bought Napoleon's Campaigns instead, though.
