Sorry about the delay in posting. I caught a bad flu over the weekend and I've been too sick to do much of anything.

The Walk-Through will next cover Battles, the Battle Report, and the Command Posture/ROEs.

Just give me a day or two to shake this flu and I'll be back in action.

Just a quick thank you note...

The tutorial is excellent and reveals layers of detail that are not immediately apparent even after having read the manual...

Please continue and consider releasing it in a pdf after its completion as I suspect all this information would be handy to have readily available.

I believe it is a must this excellent manual be copied and stickied near the Runyan99-101 thread in AACW. (Main rules for it and for BoA is the same)

This way AACW players can see it without having to look into the other forums :indien: ... And perhaps helping going into them :niark:

Great tutorial. Only problem is I am not seeing the pictures, just the filename.

All other forums showing pics ok.

Any ideas ?

Post # 14 mentions a standalone strategy guide. Did this happen in the end?

Hi
No, i don't think it was finally done :(
Still, you have this great walk though ltr213 did

But probably you already know that :)

Cheers

Thanks for the quick reply Arsan. Yes it's a great tutorial.

Off topic but possibly relevant to you - what games do you know that cover wars in Spain?

There's NCP's Spanish Ulcer;A scenario on the Spanish Civil War in Paradox Hearts of Iron 2; I suppose there's Pyro Studios' Imperial Glory - aren't they based in Madrid?

I spent a month driving round Spain in the summer and just got back from a week near Roses. I like seeing game representation of places I've at least passed through. Imperial Glory has some atmospheric quick battles in what could have been a great game. But that's another subject.

Hi! :)
I don't know many... :bonk: Probably there isn't many :(
Besides what you already know...
There are a bunch of Spanish Civil War scenarios for TOAW. The big "whole war" one was great, :coeurs: You can find them on the Rugged Defense scenary depot
http://www.the-strategist.net/RD/news.php
And HPS recently (last year??) release a Squad Battles series game about the Spanish Civil War. Haven't tried it (i'm not a fan of HPS games...)

Of course on Europa Universals games Spain is also one of the big players.

Pyro Studios are spanish indeed. I loved their first game Commnados, now available at gog.com for just 5 bucks! :w00t: , bur Imperial Glory was kind of weak IMHO :bonk:
Cheers
