Downloaded version and payment questions

Wed Nov 14, 2007 11:16 pm

Hi, I´m from Argentina and want to buy this game, I already have AACW, bought through Gamersgate in US dollars...

Now, the only way I can get this one is paying in Euros, wich exchange rate is far higher ( 1U$S = 3,16 Pesos while 1€ = 4,68 Pesos), so...I was reading that the tax has been removed for buyers in the USA, would this aply to all costumers outside Europe/France? the early stages of the buying procedure don´t specify anything...

Any clarification would be great, I love this games but right now €40 is just too much for a game for my personal economy... :p leure:

I need a job that pays in Euros...or solid gold...or barrels of oil

Hola!
Don't know for sure but i bet VAT will be removed for you also.
This tax should be only applied to European Union buyers.

But better wait for an official AGEOD confirmation :siffle:

VAT is not applied for any none-Euro buyers, which brings the base cost down to 35 Euros (or thereabouts)

As mentioned, you won't have to pay the VAT. When it comes to exchange rates, if you buy this game in dollars, then you'll pay approximately $48.

$49.38 according to my calculations right after I downloaded it. Probably should have checked before, but I would rather regret it than give myself an excuse not to get it. :) But it stayed under $50, so I shouldn't have worried.
