How to insert a multi-choice?

Mon Dec 12, 2011 11:42 am

Other than simply copying an existing one and modifying as necessary in the .sct and rebuilding the scen, are there any other files that need to be modified?

Edit: When I say "multi-choice", I mean for instance the "Ferdinand of Braunschweig goes to Hannover" question in Rise of Prussia.

The best is to use the template provided in xls format in the DB: you write your new MCE and send it to us for checking/exporting... a MCE is an event file like others, so if you "add" one inside an existing sct file, it will work...

Also, you need to write all the texts that go with it, and we have to include that text in the game strings file, otherwise there will be only some un-clear alias displayed in the message panel ;)

Also, as of my test last week, AACW, NCP and WIA do not support MC Events.

...yet ;)

Thanks a bunch! Couldn't find it in the wiki.

And yes, it is sad they don't work in AACW, but they work in ROP and RUS, which is wonderful :coeurs:
