Perhaps he was a bit old here, but here he goes, Samuel W. Crawford

Let's compensate the union horde :neener: I hope this is not available. A bit pixelated this time because the original is not as good and detailed HP Bee

Great as usual Nikel, you're a portrait painting machine ;) Although I'm a Union guy I like Dabney Maury the best!

Indeed excellent, Nikel; almost as if someone had smuggled the technology of color photography back to the 1860s :)

Eugene Carr, that portrait looks strange, is it a coloured photograph?

I assumed it was print of a painting, done after the war as he is a Major General.
ok found it again :)

Thanks to my friend Picaron, who has sent me some screenshots of the new portraits and that has provided the mdl files from v1.12a

It seems that the map portraits were a bit oversized, example General Bee

Image

So here are new versions slightly modified, I think that they are OK now. Complete package portraits, mdl files and folders path, extract in your game folder

And with this I retreat to NCP grounds. Best regards to everybody, and thanks to Jabber for his work and advices

Edit: one portrait name was wrong, fixed, and with mdl files included now

Sorry, it seems that I cannot stop, jastaV will hate me  :mdr:

After seeing some screenshot, it seems to me that the aspect of Sherman is not forgiving enough. So here is an alternative portrait for those who need a hard face while sacking Georgia

Note that these pictures are somewhat photorealistic, well, it is done adding colour to a photograph, perhaps it will not appeal everybody

Again with the permission of Jabber :hat:

Looking at the list of Generals by bburns9, there is a confederate general that is called T. Church in the game, but he points to this link in the wikipedia, Thomas James Churchill. I do not know if this is an error in the game, in the list of Generals of the wikipedia there is no General Church

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_J._Churchill

Anyway here is a portrait of him.

Of course the name in the screenshot is wrong, it is just for testing ;) The name given to the files is TChurch, such as he appears in the game

Is there any interest in a portrait of Allan Pinkerton? A spy not a general :sherlock:

Edit: not a lot of interest, anyway here he is, cigar included :D

I am not sure arsan but for this new series I am looking at the list of union and confederate generals posted by bburns9  , he has included the portrait for every general, so you can look at the few left that have not a specific portrait

Hi lukasberger, thanks :)

Some time ago already colored that one, but as I was not very happy with the result, just did not finish it. I have retouched it a bit and finished, hope it is is good enough. However the portrait used is different because the one you posted is dirty, the hair does not seems so white here
