Quick Question about tweaking

Sat Dec 20, 2008 9:02 pm

Iv been playing this game for awhile now and iv beat the game as both sides but I always feel restricted by the division cap, it doesn't take to long too run into that invisible wall and I was wondering if there was a way to increase the cap so that it is no longer a problem. I realize that as the game goes on it does increase some but is there a way to get past 48 for the Union or 24 for the South (thats as far as I can remember the caps going too)

Thanks in advance

Edit: hmm, I did some tinkering and I reapplied the most recent patch and it seems to have been fixed but wasn't working for me before

Hi BluenGrey!

You can easily change the division cap via game events.
The command is SetCombiUnits.

Example: Set the division cap to 30:

Code: Select all

SetCombiUnits = 0;0;30
You can check the file 1861 April Campaign.sct or the corresponding xls source file (http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=5358)to see how it is done in the game.

Cheers

Yes, but you can change the number via event. Of course in the correct event file for the corresponding scenario. :)

You are, of course, right. :)
But I have full faith in the abilities BluenGrey to master this task. :thumbsup:
