Regarding Static Units.

Fri Aug 28, 2009 9:04 am

Why are they not able to repair rail lines within there static district? Is there a logic behind this, or was it just previously overlooked, seems a little bit unusual, that the same unlocked unit type can repair them, but the locked unit type cant.

An engineer will increase the chances of repairing rails, sometimes your troops won't repair rails in a turn.

Mr T there is two types of fixed units.

Units that are PERMANENTLY fixed in a region with lock icon cannot blow rails, etc.
Units that are STATIC units but still fixed can blow up rails, etc.

Also I have noticed that if a permanently fixed unit is attacked- most of the time it still won't be able to be moved- but only reclassified as static. If attacked again then they can move as normal static units will be allowed.

hope that helps

Guy, are you sure the reason is not that the unit are inside the structure (no rail ther to repair) and not outside where the broken rails are??
Try to drag a fixed/static unit out of the town and to the region and see if you can repair then.
If i recall correctly, all could repair rails :bonk:
Cheers!

Nope Playmobil tried it.. and result is negative.. still no option to repair the rail.. seems silly :/ :bonk:

"Noo we will starve to death who is there to repair our rail-lines while we sit here in our nice warm bunkers" said the first idiot too the second.
