Fort Carillon

Thu Dec 13, 2007 8:00 pm

Searched for this issue -- found the bug aspect, but forget some parts:

How do I make the fort appear? Montcalm needs to be there before autumn of 1756? Does he need to stay there for any given period, or with a certain size force?

THanks for the help. Don't want to waste a game waiting.

Is the bug in fact causing a problem in the long campaign? I saw differing opinions on that?

I applied the fix, and it seems to pop up regardless for me (I just played a game where, as the British, I'd just conquered the fort to the North (Stephen?), and Carillon appeared behind me in French hands).

Known problem...some triggers about control need to be fixed, with the risk they become too rigid...we'll beta test them in BOA2 :indien:

Actually, I may not have made sure I controlled the region, so don't take that as a proper bug report :) . Excellent to hear it will be worked on for BoA2!

I had the harbor disappear after the event fired, so I added a harbor to appear with the fort in the event fix.

It looks like only part of this fix has made it into 1.13 (only the 1755 Campaign, and not 1756/Montcalm).
