Playing as the British, I've captured quite a few supplies and siege artillery trains. I'd really like to be able to destroy some when captured.

I don't think the issue is really "capture."

I would say the issue is: "Why does the AI persist sending lone artillery and supply into harms way." In my opinion, a supply wagon or artillery unit SHOULD be captured if runs into a 'real' enemy unit. This is how most captures have occured in my games.

On a more rare occasion, I have captured them after a larger battle. I am totally fine with this.

I quite agree with Feltan, the AI should take more care with its supplies and art.

In my own experience I find arty and supply to be fine the way it is. I am not capturing huge amounts and it seems fine to me.

I agree with this. Playing as the british, i captured many lone artillerys running alone around the map... the same happened with supply wagons. :8o:
