Re: GNW Danish war reentry not working

Please find attached my files as requested. I wasn't sure which script files to include, and the folder had a lot of them, so I included the most recent ones.

The problem here is that I got the warning event, even though I have way over 100 line elements in the areas listed.

Re: Romania

I'm controlling the full Entente against my friend (CP). It's his first full campaign, and, uh, things haven't gone quite as they did in real life :siffle:

I managed to encircle and destroy significant German forces in Northern France, thus gaining the upper hand.

Ok, capture of Budapest shifts Romania +10 towards the Entente. But shouldn't progress in Transylvania also affect their alignment, especially if Bulgaria is emptied of troops?

Re: Alignment in (liberated) Belgian provinces

My point is that Belgium is a special case. The CP gets 100 % loyalty automatically through the "Rape" event. It seems illogical that this isn't reversed even after the whole nation has been liberated for many months - why would they remain loyal to the Central Powers?

But shouldn't the rebel control be always displayed? It looks weird when the military control tab shows "Sweden 35 %" and then nothing else.

Re: Ideas, suggestions & questions

Good and long list...I believe the team will take the good suggestions for one of the next patches. Nice to hear! Now I wonder which were the good suggestions :D As for the map there is zero chance it can be changed, the team idea was to base the game on an existing map surface (i.e. that of WON) a...

Re: The Danes Re-enter the War Event?

Even with the current regions there seems to be something wrong with the event, or otherwise the event description is simply misleading: the warning of Denmark re-joining the war just fired in March 1705, claiming that "Because of the weak number of Swedish regular line troops in Scandinavia an...

Please increase the decisiveness and casualties of battles

IMHO currently the battles are very frustrating, as the casualties are really low, and thus one cannot decisively hurt the enemy. Please find attached a good example of this: the AI had multiple units in Dünamünde against my superior stack (later joined by another stack), and during the resolution p...

Re: Garrison

The recruitability seems to depend on the target province's loyalty. Now that I've held my Polish conquests for a while and also taken Warsaw I'm able to recruit garrison units from the conquests.

I win the battle but my stack retreats?

Last turn Armfeldt's stack was defending against the PLC in Kowno, and according to the battle report I won the battle, also gaining two NM in process. Yet my army ends up retreating, also taking massive retreat losses. How come?

I'm attaching the save file.

Military control of provinces

I've noticed that often when moving through enemy provinces the end result is that the enemy loses military control but you gain nothing, thus provinces end up in situations like the original owner having 35 % control and then the 65 % isn't even mentioned in the tooltip. Surely this isn't WAD? Also...

Re: Replacements

Do you mean the replacement chits that are bought from the production menu? It depends on your settings, either you'll have to manually buy them by clicking on the respective icon or give the AI control over buying them. I strongly recommend manual buying, to retain control of resources.

Re: Alignment in (liberated) Belgian provinces

But since the loyalty of the provinces becomes 100 % CP after the "Rape" event the Belgian provinces are massively pro-Central, despite me liberating them months ago. Shouldn't they flip back to 100% Entente after being controlled by the Entente for some time?

You edited the message already, but did you try putting the army outside the city/structure in the province itself? With an offensive stance.

AI uses the Requisitions decision excessively

Playing with the recent patch in GNW the Anti-Swedish Coalition AI is using requisitions far too often, at least in same provinces. Kazan has a rebel alignment of 61 % and Cheboksary 63 %, and it's only October 1701!

Btw, what does the province's loyalty affect? It's production? Anything else? FOW?

Re: Garrison

It's great that they were added with the patch. However, could their recruitment areas be expanded? The garrison units seem to be static, thus one is unable to assign them to any captured inland cities, since they seemingly can only be recruited in cities that the side started with.

Re: Why is the AI able to march through locked territory?

It's now January 1701 and I loaded the save as the Anti-Swedish coalition, and unlike for me as Sweden, Hamburg is shown as an accessible province. Furthermore, there's a route for the AI from Saxony to Holstein through Braunschweig that is blocked for me as Sweden.

Re: Sanitation Events Being Reported Multiple Times

Even if it's WAD it feels quite excessive. During last turn besieged Riga was hit twice by spoilage of food stores, twice by water supply contamination and once by a disease outbreak. Edit: at the very least could being hit be these events give a one-two turn immunity? After those mentioned above Ri...

Why is the AI able to march through locked territory?

With the new patch this problem still exists: the AI is able to move through provinces that are locked and at least inaccessible to the player. For example immediately during the first turn in GNW AI Denmark marches forces through Hamburg.

Alignment in (liberated) Belgian provinces

As the Western Entente I've advanced past Belgium to the banks of the Rhein, yet the alignment in Belgian provinces remains 100% Central Powers. After liberation shouldn't their alignment default to the Entente if they've been held for a little while?
