You wanna put the Chesapeake and Potomac squadrons at Hampton Roads. This blockades Richmond and a bunch of other cities. Its a good way to crank up the pressure on CSA early in the game. Just beware of Norfolk. Eventually they'll launch the Virginia and if you don't have the Monitor tp protect the ...
The Balkan powers? Well its possible yes. Once Bulgaria joins CP Greece automatically jumps a lot towards WE and they get the occupation of Salonika event. Its very very unlikely that you would get all three balkan minors though. Greece is pretty much guaranteed to enter WE and Bulgaria CP. Romania ...
If you do not use the event which pushes Bulgaria to CP then yes. If you take this event it will basically push romania and greece into the allied camp. I cant remember what the event ia called but it gives Bulgaria a big alignment puah towards CP and an even bigger push with the other two towards E...
You could delay Italy and America by a year, beyond when they historically joined the war that is, or Italy if you are willing to wait for Ottoman Empire to join you. Just as you as CP cant get the others into your alliance, so too the Entene will never be able to sway the Ottomans away from joining...
Likewise with U.S.A. and Italy the best you can hope for is extended period of neutrality. I am of the opinion that you should be able to, at great cost, keep the U.S. neutral. The WE just has nore events to push Italy into Pro-Entente status and you don't. Unless youre willing to give up those defe...
Apart from Britain and France and the American West. France sounds good but it almost feela like cheating because they are already so powerful in the colonial game. Of course this is about a thousand times more so for Britain. U.S.A hasn't really interested me in PON. I wanna fight natives develop t...
I dont see how that can be possible. Theres no way that a squadron of civilian transporta would have taken almost a year to repair. It may not be the same war but in WW2 the American drydocks were cranking out liberty ships in 5 days! From scratch! These were merely transports. I can understand the ...
I have generally preferred April but I have always found that it ends up being very ahistorical, July is for me just the April start with a little less micro. Idk about anyone else but there has always been this internal conflict I have. I like to build up the armies from scratch, but first ...
Seeing as there aren't a lot of cav elements available, and usually not a lot of horse artillery either it seems that cav divisions by necessity should be a lot smaller. General composition of cav divisions as well as cav corps is what im looking for.
Its still tricky you have to constantly detach a couple ships and send them for resupply. Its pretty darn close to Japan and the real soege was pretty short and I havent run into any evidence of supply issues for Nippon troops in Tsingtau
Im also wondering what the average raiding force for both sides should be. I've been playing this for a long time and I still don't know how to effectively raid or really defend against it.
I'm leaning towards the latter since I want to play as Germany in 1880 and if the SOI affects prestige then Germany has very little territory to colonize I imagine. It's not like this wasn't the case in real life. Also how do you change the kind of power your country is? Like from regional to global...
