I've played the demo of Rise of Prussia.
I find here, compared to American Civil War, many improvements. The most of them I like.

@ Kev_uk yes, I know the map is loading into cache / memory before it becomes smooth scrolling. I read it somewhere in the forum. As you already mention in another thread/post, there is no UAC or PC Aministrator priviledges in Windows XP.
