Will there be a demo version for NCP?

I've always been a bit leery of The Napoleonic era, and would like to try it first.... :innocent:

OK, OK, I know it's blasphemy, but I really don't know much about Napoleon's history other than Russian Winters, Elba, 'hi, I'm back', and Waterloo!! :siffle:

I see mods as mods. My choice what to use or not. In fact, I prefer 'smaller' mods so I can tune in on what I want. :sourcil: I'm always a little worried when a mod becomes part of the base game, as I bought the game for what it was, and don't want it to become something I don't like.... :fleb: Havi...

They are single ships of a type (brigs or frigates) that normally are formed into two-ship squadrons. Unfortunately, they are not mergeable.

Actually, I've successfully merged 2 'single-Frigate' units by selecting both and doing 'ctrl-C'. Haven't tried two 'single-brig' units.

I've made the correction using "Vedit". Amherst railroad is fine now. Do you know what is the code for Hanover or it should remain as it is? Thnx lodilefty! I might as well get my two cents in: I like it the way it is. I simulates quite nicely the rampant and militarily irrational Political Patronage that plagued both Lincoln and Davis. Remember, the States recruited, not the central governments. The central governments let contracts, but often to a pol...

This is an issue I am very familiar with. My research has indicated that Amherst really should have the RR as the graphic indicates. The issue is in the Cities***.inc files which define Amherst as Transport=$Road vs. =$Railroad. Additionally, the April Campaign.scn file under D=143 (Amherst) defines...

If you think of "demi-brigades" we get closer to the design. Often tactics demanded that only a portion of a brigade be sent to the flank or some other area of the battlefield..... Playing 1.07a, with only Harbor Mod v1.2 added.... Railroad missing from Amherst, VA again.... Army using Star Trek transporter

Interesting phenomenon: 1) I used "instant transfer" to move an Army unit to Cairo, IL. The Army unit was not yet "ready", but "jumped" anyway. 2) I put Army in a stack where Fremont had command of a Division, and Halleck was just hanging around. 3) Formed an Army, and it used Fremont with his entir...

Command syntax reference?

Good Idea... If you can gather a list of regions that need to be changed/reworked, we'll generate some "official" region Adjacency/JumpLink .rgn files so they can be put into a later update. Keep in mind that in order to be an acceptable "official" change, that you cannot deliberately delete an "Ad...

Proposals: 1. Modify the approaches to places like Wilmington, so you just CAN'T attack from open coastline. - or - 2.
