I can't locate the upload button in the new forum. Where is it? But yeah, try any of the campaigns and it always fails whereever you put the decisions. I have 100% reproduction rate with the release version.
Don't install the game to the default folder or you might have to always launch the game in administrator mode to save the game properly. Rather install it in root C:\ or equivalent. Example C:\games\WoS\
So a recent game was ruined by replacements in F2 not decreasing while units still get replacements. This is with manual replacements. Running Steam version.
Are you going to fix the division crash bug? I have to be really careful to not add units to a division too fast. It's the most frustrating thing about this game.
This is the side-affect of leaders having their detection rating lowered to 0 so they cannot be used as scouts; leaders can detect nothing basically. Since you have no detection in Crittendon you cannot see Polk. Once you move him into a region where you have a detection value of >=0 --highlighted ...
So I moved Polk to Crittendon to get in the command radius of the Missouri army to get the corps for the force in Kentucky. When the next turn was resolved, I noticed Polk had vanished so I went through the log but found no notice of him dying. In WIA generals can die from frostbite so I thought thi...
I think it is an engine bug actually. For some reason the game loads only a certain area of the map when you first load a save. But if I move the camera around the map and the game slowly loads the map into memory, or whatever it does, the game becomes much more stable. There's a lot of stuff in the...
When I scroll and zoom out the game always seems to crash, sometimes it's because I press control shift esc(to increase priority of the process) at the same time, for some reason the game cannot handle it. Sometimes it just crashes randomly when I do this(without the hotkey), I have no problems like...
I've wondered this myself as well. I once had a thought of retreating my Serbs to Albania by declaring war on them but I didn't find them in the diplomatic boxes.
Sounds like a very good idea! How about a possibility of making the Swedes more friendly towards the French? They could be more scared of Russia for example.
Although in theory feasible, I am against this, because we'll then be in the same syndrome as in Napoleon, where you find units of vastly different sizes fighting in the combat engine, which unbalances everything. The only "possible" situation to preserve the gameplay balance is to "coin" Bulgarian...
Yes. Bulgaria was the most sought after ally after 1914 because they had a vast army. I found it interesting that they have nothing what they historically had. Another weird thing was the "Finnish" divisions Russians have.
I like the current system. Having too many elements just complicates things. With my meticulous way of playing the game, checking the strenght of divisions and corps' would take even more if the number of elements were upped.
I think their commitment should be a very rare occurence. Rather, make them give Napoleon's army modifiers(how about tying all the guard elements to the emperor himself?). I don't play single player so I can't comment on the battle planner.
