You're right. It's summer vacations here in France. We'll be on 50% staff till end of August. Right now, the house is being guarded by Hok (WIA project leader) and Celtic (WIA Coder). Regarding Athena, the work will never stop as AACW Athena will benefit from the work in WIA Athena for example. Howe...

"Comments after Two Complete Campaigns" by gryphon_james

I'm importing this gryfon_james' post from the MATRIX forum as I found it quite interesting to read. Original can be found here: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1871800 Due to a recent back injury, I finally had time to extensively play ACW after owning the game for some time. My backgrou...

Yes indeed, it is used in the Yorktown scenario.

The British player gets victory points by destroying these locked units. Hence, he is compelled to a more offensive strategy.

Nice design trick which should be used for more scenarios IMHO.

Supply -- so, basically, without a supply wagon (or 2, or 3) to accompany me to the battlefront, I am screwed. Right? :D Yes, especially with regular regiments. For me, Birth of America displays two unique features: - It's very to learn and play, but still very hard to master - It's all about asyme...

I'm reporting this to our webmaster. Thank you

But if this is a community, why AGEOD member teams opinion counts more in this affair right now? ;) This is a WAD. Your "reputation power" is calculated according to how long you've been a member of the forum, how often you contribute and how good is our reputation. Two consequences: ⋅ If...

For instance, someone with millions of dollars is not likely to fret over 50 or 60 dollars, VAT tax nothwithstanding. It could be that the person in question thought the VAT was being added to the 60 dollar price. I can't remember which way it was. WIA price is 49.9 $, not 60$. The conversation you...

Reliable, but time consuming for the admin, and I don't want to judge others personns motivations. We administrate a forum, not minds.
Anyway, in the end, general opinion always prevails. :cwboy:
