I think Lee should have 6 in offensive... He played an aggressive game for 3 years be it on the operationnal or tactical field... Did it succeed ? Eventually not , but he still became a godlike figure int the civil war and for civil war buffs... Not giving him a 6 in an AACW game is like not giving ...

So the building block is actually the Brigade, not the Rgt ? Can you know which are the Rgts in your Brigade ? What do the numbers mean, for example for the 3 missouri Bgdes : 124, 78, 61 ? and the symbols beside the soldiers with the numbers 10 and then 0 and 0 ? And we need a screen of the cavalry...

Wait does that mean you can't have more than 40 rgts in existence ? Or that you can't raise more than 40 rgts per troop raising phase ? I don't really understand what you just said...

Hmmm... A bit more seriously, I hope that as you said the map won't be too crowded, or that at least lots of it will be made of overlays you can switch on and of ( for example all those little flags ).
