Forbes 1* or 2*

In the 1755 CG using 1.06.1, british general Forbes has one star, but commands like a 2 star general, i.e. he has 4 CP. For 1.07 one or the other should be changed.

Thanks

It is good that the role of loyalist Afro-Americans has been recognised. What about the role played by Afro-Americans who volunteered for service with the American army? The first black regiment raised was the 1st Rhode Island in August 1778. This unit should not be confused with the 1st RI which ap...

I am not sure what effect that Indians would have on VP's. being irregular troop they can not occupy enemy locations. They can destroy forts and/or depots, but the city remains in the hands of the original owner. Forts require artillery and supply. Destroying the fort will not give you either cannon...

Beware objective controls does not just means you have to get 100% military control, if the population is against you. To control an objective you must have: a) a regular regiment OR b) 51%+ loyalty supports Augusta and Detroit being pro-english, I think you don't have the regular garrison... (add ...

'75 VP Bug

Playing '75 CG as US. For VP objective determination, neither Ft Detroit nor Augusta are shown as controlled by US. Hovering the mouse over these provinces shows that they are 100% controlled by US, but ledger shows both as uncontrolled. Impossible to achieve strategic victory.

Unless I am doing something wrong, there appears to be a bit of a design problem with the save game function. For example lets say I want to save a game position where I am doing really well, I select ctrl-save and call it goodgame. After a few more turns I realise thing aren't going the way I want...

A few questions

I recently got the game and find it great. I have completed '55 CG (UK) and '75 CG (US) both with 1.05 and am now playing '75 CG US with 1.06. I have some questions which hopefully someone can help with. How are the marines different from regular troops? Are they just for flavour or do they have a p...

Serial Code problem

I have just loaded the CD. On the serial number prompt, I copied and pasted the serial code as received from my email. Upon entering, I get the error message 'Your serial has not the expected length. Enter your serial, exactly as it is written on your validation card, underscores included'. Please a...
