Hi! As we all know, in AJE NM has a very important impact on the performance of your troops on the battlefield. We too know, that garrisons will most probably surrender, if their moral is lower then the moral of the siege-force. That leads to a strategic problem: The weaker side will avoid battles a...
If you drag and drop your army on the enemy army, it seems to pursuit the enemy army. At least when doing that, I found my army on locations I never sent them So I guess, that's the way to "pursue".
Thanks a lot! I just found an older thread with the same issue. Should have read first, sorry for the inconvenience. Now I find it. But who the hell makes a system, that HIDES files?
Here two pictures: The very empty save-folder and the many games of different scenarios I can load ingame. As mentioned: Even if I search trn-files, I can't find them...
Hi! I started a PbEM against a friend. So I started the War of Independence and saved (called the save 1775). But in the WIA/SAVES folder, there is no 1775 folder. Whenever I start a new game, no matter what scenario, even if playing a few turns, no save folder is created. Strangly, when I run WiA, ...
One more question: I've read, that militas suffer mali if they leave their home region. What's the best (quickest) method to find out, when a unit is outside of it's region? I simply don't check it
Well, I have to agree. As fas as I know, Roman legions could achieve a 30 km per day (dont know if they could hold this speed for a longer period). Didn't test, but I guess troops are a little too fast in the game. BUT: I want a game to feel historic, not to be historic ;) If the devs (sounds like d...
Thanks for all the help. Many things are clearer now. I will rethink the settings - I like it realistic, so I'll take historic attrition, but armies should be able to move every turn. Compared to WiA, AJE seems to be some AGEOD light ;) Well, thanks to all your help, I will kick some French and then...
Hi! :) Making first steps with WiA 2, I get serious troubles. Not only by the French, but by the engine also ;) 1. My british officers are inactive most times. This may end up in whole armies, stranded in the wilderness, starving to death. Can I avoid that? I mean: How realistic is it: "Sir, in four...
Well, I guess some victory-messages don't work properly. In Caesar vs. Pompejus the good, old Caesar hat only one city left, no legion and maybe 2 cavalry units - but Pompejus got no victory screen. Of course no one could doubt, that Caesar had lost ;) Same in your case: You may have won the scenari...
Played the scenario as Rome once more. Few question: * Metellus and his army of a few legions were sieged in Gades. So I collected a large fleet in Gades to evacuate the army. I know that, if the fleet can't take up the hole army, drop+click doesn't work. HERE it worked, so the icons united, so the ...
Hi all! I hope, the forum is still alive Just started with BoA2 (ok, tried it once, didn't get warm with it. But now I'm AJE-addicted and want to try BoA2 again). Now my question: While my boys die as soon as the first snow falls, the KI seems unharmed. French troops even siege settlements during wi...

Now my Populares have beaten the Optimates. What I regard rather strange is, that Pontus offered peace to the Optimates. At that time, there were no relevant Optimates forces left and they held only1-2 small cities in Greece, while my Populares armies had taken Asia and marched on the Pontus capital...
I think it was reported already, but when I played Albinus in the Severus-scenario, I won on turn 8 when taking Rome. No battle agains anyone except Didius. Ok, moral skyrocketet to 186, but still - this shouldn't be.
One more point: Playing Sulla, I got the "Pontus offers peace" event, when my armies were only one turn away from Trapezunt. I did not accept and took the city, therefore triggering an automatic peace treaty. Just curious: Is that wanted or should the event happen earlier? It's somehow strange that ...
Hi! Just a suggestion: In AJE, you should keep you best troops together (frontage-iussue). That's ok, but I'd prefer a malus for pure infantry-armies, as in history legions and even more a phalanx was very vulnerable, if the flanks were not secured by cavallry. Cannae was not a failure of the legion...
So, at least MY work is over now ;) Here we go. The Save is from the Pompeius vs. Caesar scenario. By the way: I conquered EVERY city of Caesar and still got no victory screen. His moral never fell below 40. Shouldn't be, I guess (my poor troops made it to the german and english borders, taking ever...
Well, this is a questions-thread, therefore: Is it possible to send an army on a "circle-course"? I mean: Send an army from province A to province B and then back to province A? When I send the army back to A, all the way is quitted. I only can send A->B->neighboring province of A. Is that wanted?
