This can happen if the patch is installed to a wrong location. (If you start the AACW.exe from the patch but the rest of the game is somewhere else.) Please check that you installed it to the correct directory (the game directory).
[...] I have 2 PBEM games going in the 1755 campaign, and I always have forces stationed outside Halifax, summer or winter, to fight off a naval invasion and not be bottled up in a siege, and never have any of those forces suffered losses for weather. Yes, because the benefits of the structure outw...
Sorry, I missed this post. :bonk: Under bad weather conditions ( harsh or very harsh ) the attrition and the loss of cohesion increase. With the historical attrition rule turned on, also if stationary. You may also check this thread, post #4. http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=9027 Cheers N...
Hi twbrevard! Check this thread: http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=2810 (post 11). It's rather old and written for BOA, but the procedure is the same for AACW. [...]No game-code comes equipped with the ability to understand what a command like 'Generate 3 units every other turn in the city this general is in' means. I've seen some of the programming that goes into coding something like that. I imagine it'd only confuse regular folks, even if they could ac...
Hi Kaoru! So: Where am I going wrong? And is there anything else I can provide that'd help you, to help me? Just to recap: I am sure that McCook is promoting properly, it merely isn't displaying his three-stars when he gets his three-star rank. Does that need to be specified somewhere, or...? Anyhow...
Hi Kaoru, maybe this thread can help you a bit: http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=10259 :) ..So, wait...what? I see the '1' in there, I assume that's for discipline, but how is that determined? Where's the 10 bonus to cohesion handled? The TQ bonus of 1 gives automatically the cohesion bon...
