Sorry Chris, I see what you mean now. A good point - it's odd that experience can be lost. Maybe experience is not quite the correct word for what this indicator represents. It seems to be more like an indicator of morale or confidence. Maybe somebody can shed some light?

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Chris, they show the type of terrain to be traversed - but forget exactly what each colour represents - can anyone elucidate? Turn replay should work for any game - just press it and you should see the previous turn again? If you post the log and save files somebody may be able to help. I have no...

Thanks Bohemond but this confuses me - surely I can't update structure files for one scenario without affecting all scenarios?

I looked at this thread the other day to find a link I made to a scene on You Tube from Lawrence or Arabia. I can't find it now. So I looked on You Tube to find it. I can't find it there now either (apart from a message that it has been blocked on copyright grounds from Sony). It was a link to the m...

Cheers,
Chris

I've had a bit of a break due to a dodgy arm and other stuff - but now getting on with things again. One of the things I have been getting on with today is changing all the production site type events. I'm going through them all one by one (there are hundreds) changing all the factions to the ones I...

Finding regions

Hi folks, can anyone remind me how I find regions on the map using the Id (or name)? I'm sure I ask this once a year and email myself the answer but it seems a difficult thing to find with a search.

Thanks,
Chris

Yes :) So glad I found out otherwise I could have spent hours trying other things!

It must cause people a lot of hassle if they don't realise these sort of problems can be caused by low keyboard batteries.

New PC just started playing up. I thought I would post what I have learnt and tried so far + it will help me remember what to try next time. Suddenly all manner of weird things started to happen. Search boxes appearing when trying to type an email address, Firefox find box constantly appearing - mul...

I'm really after a way of firing an event x turns after another random event has fired.

Thanks,

counter/register

Hi folks, can anyone remind me how I set up a counter that I can increment each turn. When it reaches a certain value I can fire an event - I know there is
a way of doing this!

Thanks,
Chris

General discussions forum

Hi folks, I think there is a case for the General discussions forum to be placed back up at the top of the page underneath news. The Halloween thread didn't do well this year - not necessarily due to the forum change but a few people that PMd me with a quiz answer mentioned the fact that they hadn't...

Only four names in the hat this year. A poor turnout but a worthy winner! As far as the clues go – they were not easy. But a quiz with difficult clues is a rare thing these days. Not such a bad thing I think. The name of the young lady mentioned could be found by the filename of the photo R...

Last bump!

I should say that the Halloween prizes also have an American Civil War
theme so if you are interested in that then you still have time to enter.
If you are already in the pot but have no interest then PM me and I
will desecrate your entry.

In the early 1860s, the photographer William Mumler developed a self-portrait that appeared to feature the apparition of his cousin who had been dead for 12 years. This is widely credited as the first spirit photograph —a photograph of a living subject featuring the likeness o...
