Re: do structures have a size?

Found the solution. Thought I could add a comment with the # sign which lead to a crash in one case and in another simply did not seem to work with no message. In the second case it meant no production of horses at all, for any stud in Austria.

Think I should get this piece done now.

Re: do structures have a size?

Hello, Structures do have a size. I know how to deal with it using Database and events. But I do not know how using the saves files you are modding. Regards Thanks, I will look a little more then. Technically I'm editing a scenario file (Andrzej's scenario making any faction easily selectable at st...

do structures have a size?

Hello, I was just adding stud farms to various cities and realised there does not seem to be a way to limit their output. My idea was to give minor states their own studs, particularly the German ones which historically fielded quite a bit of cavalry. I was thinking of adding some war supplies to, b...

Re: Armies striking deep into enemy territory

But isn't that exactly what Hannibal did? Bypassing fortified cities etc. As long as they don't take those cities you as the Roman player should be able to catch these forces (Roman's usually have higher movement ratings, also you should have interior lines and a good road network). Whether those de...

Shouldn't senate buildings you've captured from rebels during a civil war be disbanded automatically? They seem to add fortification and a culture bonus without using up a building slot and costing 2 infra...

Civil Wars

Just wanted to say thank you. Finally got myself a Civil War in my current Rome game. Went for Empire around turn 90 as I was risking to fall into the lower third of the CDR chart and did not want to risk losing progress tokens I could not regain later. My Emperor is no good but I can live with that...

Would there be any way to limit destruction of advanced buildings due to volcanoes, raids etc. What I mean is that if Etna erupts and the city walls are targeted that those only be reduced a level and not right down to nothing. In my current game I've had a region lose it's entire Harbour, another t...

That reminds me. The 35% bonus to legacy for a glorious state what does it apply to? In my game as Rome that I shelved yesterday morning I noticed the Antigonides were getting 1.30 and 2.60 legacy for cultured regions, the Antigonides at that point are in a Golden Age. I as a Glorious Empire see jus...

As the title says, when do you form your empires? I've only done so twice yet, both times as Rome. The first time I did t rightaway when first offered, certainly before turn 100. The second time is my current game where I waited a while till after I had most of what would be modern day Italy plus pa...

As to earthquakes and such. In my current gameas Rome (100 turns) (I've almost exclusively played Rome so far) I've had at least two volcanic eruptions (Vesuvius), though the impact was benign with just one pop lost and one building (both times one of the big loyalty ones so that had an impact). I just realised military buildings like barracks in regions that are not the capital of a province serve hardly for anything as nly the capital's modifiers to experience seem to be used when raising new units. Great improvements just as was to be expected by Ageod. So thanks. How exactly do you relinquish a region? I haven't seen a button or any way to do so yet. AI agressivity still has to be toned down. In my current game as Rome (or should I say Neapolis?) the Etruscans rose out of the ashes rebelling against the Senones in Carnia (25% Celtic, 75% Balcanic). I was just about to take the region from the Senones and was a bit taken aback by this odd revolt....
