No that's normal, Persia starts small but utterly crush Media.

As for blackened numbers, it might be a lack of infrastructure.

Re: Civil War III - To be or not to be?

I would more or less keep the same scale, while adding more economy and political components. But I have not given too much thoughts about it, honestly, even if I would gladly have this as a topic for a next game within Slitherine. If I could choose my own subject for a game, without any financial c...

Ah, the crisis manager. A hell to design, so that it was automated while having players input meaningful choices. I don't know if I succeeded in fact! ;) I would be interested to get these screenshots in big, for my archives. It has been a very long time since I saw the PON crisis manager in action.

Re: Civil War III - To be or not to be?

Alas and on the contrary, the 2 engines vastly differ in their syntax. The current one has been developed by a Slitherine developer and is an interpreted language based on C, whereas the AGE engine has been developed by me, in Delphi. As for crowd funding, you are welcome to launch one obviously! Be...

Re: Civil War III - To be or not to be?

Don't quote me, as I don't have hard data, just guess estimates. If you depend of another company and are not an independent dev, then for a project asking for 2 to 3 years, single man dev (discounting artist costs and all the rest), then starting with 400.000 $ gross gain (if that a word?) starts t...

Re: Model Modding Issue

Units on the map have their data stored in the initial scenario file, if the game has started. If not, then they should use the latest database definition, I don't see how that would be possible they not use it.

Re: Civil War III - To be or not to be?

If there was a new CW game from AGEOD, I doubt it would go even deeper into details than CW2, with regiments being the base formation, 3 days per turn and thousands of generals. That's just not what management believes is working and aside from some grognards who would play it, if you need thousands...

The command AddDiploItem can add a war with a specific warscore. I guess you would need to cancel the war and recreate it then.

Much more stable and faster. It is full 3D, so you would see mountains with an angle for example. Map display is instantaneous, no hiccups when scrolling or anything. No known bug in the underlying 'system' code (so for example no crash because of a de-referenced group or unit like in AGE, it happen...

On a personal level, I would like to make a CW3 with the new engine, but you have to convince Slitherine management it is also viable economically.

Before reshuffling, have you checked the building you want is in the list of possible buildings? They are listed in the right panel.
They are a few decisions that will force the chances to get a harbor or a fort, but nothing else.

It has been a nice period of time, but yes, no active, official development of the old AGE engine now. The new one is much faster and not that much less grognard, believe me!

You can lobby the head boss Iain McNeil about subjects you would like to see with the new Archon engine.

It will cost more command points, so you might get a command penalty and thus a combat penalty.

Re: Units receiving replacemnents for lost hits

Are they getting weaker by losing hits or only cohesion?
It might be because of the weather, I believe there are a variant in the rules where the weather is nastier and there is the possibility to be weakened by foul weather even if in supply and in a city.

The usual advice is to install it anywhere but in a Program Files folder.
He can also post the log just after he crashed here.

As for monitors, I'm not too sure you can. Did you try the AGE Settings utility, and using windowed mode?
