I have not tried that, just added the communication between the two coastal regions so that the Union ships could enter the lake, and that was by trial and error :mdr:

I guess it should work like the 2 forts in the mouth of the Mississippi?

Oh, I see.

The passage to the lake is through New Orleans not through the strait where the fort is.

Not nicely displayed in the map, but it is showed in the pic above.

Of course if you already control NO, you do not need any blockade :bonk:

I have found no way to blockade New Orleans with ships. I think the problem is Lake Pontchartrain gets listed as a New Orleans harbour exit point. But ships cannot get into Lake Pontchartrain. Must be frustrating.

I guess it is not a problem of corruption of the file solved by zipping it, if you already played several AJE campaigns and now is happening with several WIA scenarios.

But what error does your friend get when he tries to process the turn? Is it always the same?

Perhaps it is hard-coded. It was changed in 1.05 patch and the divisional HQ were removed. There is a document explaining the change in the docs folder, DivHQ Removal.pdf. By the dates of the mod I'd say 1.02, but not 1.03 that was always beta.
