I would definitely buy an expansion pack if it offered an improved battle planner and battle experience. This is the part of the game that should produce those 'memorable' moments!! Please consider offering the option to appoint commanders for the flanks, center and reserve. Also more tactical optio...

Battle planner...

The battle planner is truly one of the most exciting new features of the game. It has so much potential that is not being realised yet. Battles are currently too static. There should be room for manouver: with the right combination of troops and high initiative leaders. I am thinking of Jackson's ma...

I would love to play a Napoleonic mod for PON. Does anyone know if one exists or if one is being attempted? To play from 1792 thru 1920 would be awesome...

I agree. That would work, but generals should still be able to redeploy over big distances even if rail isn't continuous as they could commandeer special trains or use other means to get around quickly...

Right now it seems too easy to move stacks around this way. Historically rail lines were constantly being sabotaged. Maybe redeployment should be for lone generals (+HQ) only??

Sorry. I think I mean the main map. That is where I would like to see fixed units with the red stripe.

Thanks. Right now it seems too easy to move units around using redeployment. I agree that making it more difficult should be considered.

Show fixed units on strategic map

Please show the fixed units on the strategic map by using the same red diagonal stripe that is visible from the close view. This would avoid wasting time clicking on units that can't be moved. Also, please include a "save as" function. Currently there is no way to name save files. Also the decision ...

Redeployment

I have searched the manual and there is nothing about redeployment. Can someone explain how it works, how long it takes and what the cost is? Thanks.

Thanks for the timely update guys!! However, just one thing I have noticed: my laptop touch pad can no longer zoom in and out on the main map. Before the patch I could zoom by dragging my finger along the right-hand side of the touch pad. Could you fix this or include a button to zoom in and out for...

So the limits are 18 elements for a division and 3 elements for a brigade? Also could you explain how I can replace my combat losses for depleted units. You are saying that I have to retreat to a depot to receive replacements? is there any other way to do this? Thanks.

Moving elements from one division to another...

I would like a screen where I could move elements between different divisions (containers). You have the beginnings of this ability when you hover over a commander's stars and you can see the units under his command. If you could freeze that and then bring up the same box of a different commander th...

Losing seniority over casualties...

Correct me if I'm wrong but do generals lose seniority even if they win a battle if their casualties are more than their opponent? This doesn't seem to be historically accurate. During the battles of the Seven Pines Lee pushed McClellan off the Peninsula and was a hero to the South. However, if you ...

The number of cavalry in proportion to the army size should also determine whether or not the player gets to see the other player (or AI) pre-battle dispositions. After all, it was the absence of Jeb Stuart's cavalry in the pre-amble to Gettysburg that left Lee with a very sketchy idea of the Union ...

I agree!! The lack of a grand campaign was highlighted by many reviewers and was the main reason I didn't buy NCP. I would definitely buy NCP2 IF it included an grand campaign. I love the combination of strategy and tactics!! And why not have the opportunity to rewrite history!!

This is my favourite feature!! I love the idea that I can have more control over battles! It would be great to see this in a future version of Napoleon's Campaigns!
