My take, hang in there. AGOED has supported AJE modules so well. Even this week a new update. This excellent game will continue to have support, my view. I really hope so, it would be a shame if this falls in the shadows. Think AJE on the new WON engine, with the new graphics and everything. Would ...

Unfortunately I don't think so, which is quite a shame as the engine suits much better for the AJE-titles than all the new releases of AGEOD ... hmm really sad. I think the roman/ancient times unfortunaley is behind us now. AJE/BOR/HAN is one of the best games AGEOD has ever produced, especially af...

It is hard for me to choose. I also play only pbem, so this might limit my reply. Samnites and Mercenary War are quick but challenging. Punic war are tight. Marius v Sulla is very tight. Not exactly sure what you mean by a motivation, but I have not encountered an AJE scenario which did not play hi...

Sorry, Temgesic , I didn't mean to blow off your suggestion. I think that if given Lee's military genius early on, in addition to all the other advantages the Union had, the war would have been much shorter and the outcome never remotely in doubt. I'm sure the talented folks at AGEod could produce ...

He ends up in Halleck's position, chained to a desk shuffling papers for the rest of the war. The field commanders are still crap, but they are now better coordinated so the war ends a year earlier. If he takes command of the Army of the Potomac, the war ends 2 years earlier. AGEod never publishes ...

Ahistorical Scenario, Lee Takes Command

Wouldn´t it be of great interest if the makers or someone would make an ahistorical scenario where Lee actual accepts President Lincolns proposal of leading the Army to quell the Southern Rebellion? Would certainly be an scenario which would be much interestingly :) What to the people think about th...

I'm still working on an event list for the Second Punic War. Eventually I'll finish it... It is almost done. Here is an excerpt that may help: Hannibal in Italy - The first time Hannibal arrives in the Italia area Carthage will recieve 1NM and 10EP. Betrayal of Tarentum - Starting in 217, if Hannib...

You are absolutley right. But there is something missing that i can´t really put my finger on that was in the original and not in Ultimate General.
And by the way they are working on a new Ultimate General Game :)

If i remember correctly they get it by events. But im pretty sure you should be able to recruit "Bruttian legion" or what they are called again. Think you need to own Croton and you will be able to recruit them. Not sure though since i haven´t played thte scenario in a while and am in a middle of ca...

Hi No, HARDE mod was not integrated in any of the patches. Regards OK. THen maybe i confuse it with some other mod. But someone told me that playing with that mod since it is outdated along with the new patch and such it could bring crashes and such to the game. Don´t know if it´s true or not but.

Perhaps but if so it does not seem to be included in any of the v1.05 patch documentation and they're usually pretty good at this sort of thing. The HARDE thread in the Modding forum makes no reference to it being included in the official patches so I would be interested to know where your informat...

I agree. The First Punic War in BOR represents a challenge for both sides. I have won once as Rome and been defeated as Carthage and am currently losing as Rome. I have repeatedly beaten and now dominate the Carthaginian Navy but am deadlocked in Sicily being unable to take Depranum and Panormous. ...

It works with Steam but you'll have to hunt down your serial key. It's in the game installation folder under EAW\Settings\General.opt When you run the game with mod the first time, it'll prompt for key, enter the value from General.opt listed out beside "Serial =" Is the mod designed for PBEM only?...
