They lost because they were beaten. Their marvelous warplan failed, their so-called best army in the world screw up its advance. They were beaten at La Marne (twice), at Verdun, at Amiens.
German army was no superhuman. A good army, of course. As almost all great powers.

French colonial units

Hi there,

Little remarks about french north african units : - Zouaves should have a different unit card, as they wore a different uniform;
- even more important, Zouave recruitment was european so the unit shouldn't, perhaps, be african.

And sowewhat realistic and coherent with Germany's war plan. Here are a few things to keep in mind: - This is 1914, not 1917. No total war yet and the general mood is still set in the 19th century. "The war shall last a few months, and it will be over." Capturing Paris (or Berlin for Russian, as if ...

Hi Ageod... I must say that since I updated Civil War II with 1.01, I've my share of issues. The game is way less stable than it was under the beta patches and I have random CTD upon turn completion. The last one was quite severe... and now my saves can't ...

How are they supposed to work?
It's a great idea indeed, but whenever I hoover over the decision chit, not a single province goes green.
How am I supposed to export them?

Thanks! :)

Saved games - how to?

Well, I'm confused.

In AACW, there was a shortcut allowing player to name their saves. It seems gone and all we have is a strange charge menu without much info on the files saved. And I also don't see how I can go back one, two or three turns back...
