It all depends what you call a victory...outright, by knocking out the opponents, is almost impossible unless you manage some very strong trick, like taking Vienna or London...

But winning by holding Spain and France by end of the game is quite feasible...it's more or less an attrition contest...

I don't think it was WAD but, on an historical point of view, you could consider that it would work, Peter having managed to re-organize his government and lead the war simultaneously.

The garrisons that pop up are "calculated" based on city size, fort levels etc...it's dynamic...so the bigger/stronger the city, the better the garrison. Now it's safe to build up garrisons with your own units, like guns, troops and supplies will help, and sending a good defending commande...

The autogarrison feature is permanent. Although I share some historical reservation on that, the tool is absolutely necessary in a game of this scope to help the AI.

In the current version of the game, the design team decided to close the out-of-Europe game for the most part. It should come later.

As for the Nouvelle France, the fur trade was quite prosperous, despite the colony "cost" by itself...this is what is represented there in the values AFAIK.

Thanks...the scripts shows that Bedmar is NOT in Louvain, so that's why the line can't be activated...the question is: do you see the option, even if OFF, in your ledger ?

The scripts are normally in the Script folder, but may be they have been "moved" to the same location as your saves (it mostly depends on where you installed the game)

Normally, as the Bourbons, you see this option in your list AFTER England and Holland joined... to activate it, you need Spanish general Bedmar present in the region of Louvain (northeast of Brussels)

May be something like this would do...without the artist, it's close enough

The artist is no longer on commission, so it's hard to change the pictures. We may try a little modding though...can you find some pictures of the concerned units in full view (not the sole cap)...or find an existing unit in the game with a similar cap, so we may possibly adapt the graphics.

My 2 cents would be to lower the base template values of Assault and TQ (which are a bit too high, and keep them for those 'better' infantries) and play around with other va...

I think it is crucial to show these differences in the game, but there is an alternative to changing all the values. IN wars of Napoleon, there was an excellent modifier system which made the forces of each major nation unique, with a number of simple modifiers that recreated the tactical differenc...
