CTD re-organizing stacks

Got this re-organizing stacks in Memphis. Seems to happen most often the first time I reorg a lot of stacks in an region with many stacks.

AMD Phenom II X4 965; 8GB; Radeon HD 5670 cat. 13.9 drivers; win 7 updates current.

Best wishes for good bug hunting... :)

Mobility icon goes missing

Small graphics bug- The target icon that normally appears beneath the entrenchment icon at the lower right of the unit detail display disappears whenever a map region turns red to show difficult to enter. Oddly, if the black area is mouse'd over, the appropriate message still appears.

I agree but one time cost is enough, loosing 1 NM per turn is very powerful, it makes it impossible to pass anyone. The one time NM cost can be significant also but you only pay it once. Just to be sure we're on the same page... The soft cap penalty would be in addition to the out of seniority orde...

Per turn NM penalty is too powerful IMO, one time cost will stop Union from using the best guys from the start. Historically, the North didn't use its best guys from the start... I think that's the point! The Union needs to pay the political cost to bypass the political generals or suffe...

OK, now I onboard if a soft cap included monetary, NM (and possibly VP) penalties per turn.

This is odd/counter-intuitive behavior: ⋅ Select a unit [let's call it " unit #1 "] and target a distant stack of units [let's call it " stack #2 "] as the destination; ⋅ It's a few moves away, so use rail movement; ⋅ Meanwhile, select unit(s) [let's call them " unit(s...

The simplest solution might be a soft-cap: Number of armies (Y) without financial penalty = X + 2, where X is the year in the war. If Y > X +2, then Y-2 * $2,000 is the upkeep costs per month of keeping additional armies. So in 1861 (where X = 0), you can have 2 armies and pay no upkeep costs. In 1...

Uninstalled/reinstalled/updated-> replayed previous turn-> problem gone (i.e. Fayette is still there; Ft. Wayne is still missing, but that was an even earlier turn)... no idea.... :bonk:

City of Fayette AR completely demolished by attack!

When attacked by Lyons the city completely disappears. Similarly, on an earlier turn, when Lyons attacked Ft. Wayne, it completely disappeared as well.

Not good!

When Corps are available, Army command stack is usually empty. How would you handle that? Also, if his replacement(Grant) is good enough, I do not see public (NM loss) moaning for McClellan in the long run. When corps are available, the Army Commander gets credit for all the elements in the corps t...

+1 This type of limitation, is really interesting, meanwhile, you should have information about morale/VP penality every turn. Pocus is it possible without waiting CW 3 ? ;) As far as I know, Athena doesn't do gamey things with leaders anyway. So, I see this as a player only rule; no AI coding need...

Firstly, I liked the old system with required, but limited in number, HQ elements. However, in the spirit of moving on, here's a simple suggestion for a rule addition to the current system: Every turn that an Army General fails to have X (unlocked) elements under his command, a morale and/or VP pena...

I have noticed that the state capitols are listed on the map with the state flag next to the appropriate city. Aside from esthetics how (if at all) do state capitols effect the game? IIRC, if you ctrl-click the city to see the structures inside it, then there is a mouse over tool tip for the capitol.

Tuscan, AZ declares independence!

You may use 1680x1050 resolution as a game option. Or maybe 1280x800, 1440x900, or 1728x1080. Yes, that's right, but only if I reset my resolution at the computer level. Sadly the Configuration Utility doesn't seem to work for me. It shows 3 lines for each resolution choice and even if I pick one a...

It's too subtle and easy to miss. About the only way to see the progress from militia -> conscript -> trained infantry is to hover over the element and/or click on it to see the details screen. Too tedious and time-consuming. A clear visual indicator would be better. I believe there has been a grea...

Coweta Georgia needs railroad

The rail icon runs through it. The adjacent regions are not connected without it. Sure looks like it's supposed to have it. (patched to RC3).

Region Coweta, GA needs the railroad terrain transportation type changed from road to railroad.
