Russian Lt Cav not upgrading & Colonial card problems

Hi all, I'm playing Russia, it's now 1884 and the 1840-1850 model of Light Cavalry has never upgraded. There are also no replacement chits for Lt Cav, but losses seem to be getting drawn from the Cavalry chit (I guess). I've looked at the models cache file and here's the Lt Cav model info for the 18...

Hmm. That is strange, because as far as I know HMS Warrior didn't have any turrets. It is a completely different type of ship from monitor for example. This may be wasting time but do you get anything that looks like this with the "iron ships" tech - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Warrior_(1860)?...

I'm now wondering if the reason only pieces of each provinces structure is showing is because no city has been founded there yet? (In which case the locations are fine).

1. did you modifed models ? look for models of cavalary if thier upgade path is ok (will take soem time to fully understand how it is created/works, just look on unit models in which it works so you are sure yu are looking on working one), if yes, then just delete models.cached (biggest file here) ...

jup, SOI is dynamical value, it change over time (and it is random to some degree), all you need it to have protectorate/colony/dominion here to be able to incease SOI. For 75% loaylity - are you sure you are OWNER of that prov ? If he belong china you cant send immigrants here, as told many times....

lack of generals - game have set limits on how much you can have generals, if you have less (KIA), then you will get replacement, it dont look at how much you actualy need.
