thanks for update...

It's really looking Awesome! I was happy when I thought this was going to be 'Rise of Pussia' in 'Russia'...the enhancements are more than I expected. The evolution of a stellar system (AGE) continues! Thank you, I can't wait for November. (but why do I get this feeling you're not telling us everyth...

Koenigsberg question...

should I evacuate major forces,(Schoremer's cavalry and Lehwaldts infanty) from Koenigsberg leaving only the fortress garrison...there seems to be little they can do in Koenigsberg, they nearly starved to death during a siege and were only saved by old man winter forcing the Russians to leave...furt...

two questions...

since this game is based on the more recent AGE game engine (ROP version) will we have the "detailed combat report"...(excellent feature), also... considering the vast scope of Russia will turn length be closer to WIA's 30 day turns or more like ROP 14/15 day turns? Thanks! Sorry if these questions ...

just curious... but how's the play balance in this game? since I'm new to this setting (just started reading Figes " A People tragedy") does one side have an overwhelming advantage? In AACW the north is much stronger but it's still alot of fun whichever side you pick...ROP I find very difficult bala...

I think this sounds great. I don't know much about the russian revolution but as with the other AGE titles I'll be forced to learn.

I probably would have bought this game over ROP if they were out at the same time. Can hardly wait...November you say... not too bad!

un-installing and re-installing?

Hi all, I currently running what I believe to be the lates official patch(1.15) but would like to try (1.16 beta6); the beta thread recommends a complete uninstall/ reinstall;what's best, should I use the uninstall feature on the Ageod program drop down menu or use the add/remove programs from Windo...

battles with two seperate armies in a region?

If two seperate armies (same country) are in the same region or arrive in the same region but are not allowed to merge is there a chance they will aid each other in combat? thanks! This is a wonderful game; the engine adapts very well to the different historical time frames. (IMHO) similar play as a...

I for one enjoy playing the ai, because obviously I can do it whenever I want, and all things considered I really think athena puts up a pretty dang good fight, at least for me. I haven't had an occasion where I've steamrolled her in the first couple years. But maybe that's just me being boneheaded...

1.2 fixed ctd

thanks everyone

while using 1.11d a saved game started crashing during battle resolution.
( a bombardment issue.)
after updating to 1.12 the same saved game no longer crashes.

I'll probably start a new game soon to take advantage of the new features in 1.12

curious about enemy army graphics!

I'm still curious as to why a few enemy army general portaits change to generic army images.(soldier icons) example: both Jackson and Forrest were spotted as commanding officers, portaits in place.Several turns later the same armys have generic soldier images in place of portraits while Jackson and F...

thanks for the update jabber, I'm playing a saved game (1.10d).It appears that J. Reynolds and P.Marston's portaits don't show up.they appear to be there for caming purposes but the all images are blanks. map icon unit menus all blanks. the funny thing is, I checked the unit, armies and model folders...

just patched from original 1.10 to 1.10d now get error message and program termination while playing a saved game. I'm using mp84's portait update. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with errors mentioned in TeMagic's post or the fact that it's a saved game. also noticed that I lost Bedford For...
