It isn't the balance that bothers me so much as how unrealistic it is. Money and WSU don't really need to be increased. Just conscripts.

Has anyone else noticed a severe shortage of conscripts in game?

Hello, Something I have noticed playing this game is the decided shortness of bodies to throw into uniform compared to real life. In the current Paradox Mass AAR there have been 2.35 Million casualties (all sides) by late November 1914, or in other words. comparable with the real life casualties. Ho...

Again an uneventful turn occurs for Austria, but that changes now, because Fall Walküre is active. Nearly 600,000 Men and 2100 guns will hit the Serbian army of roughly 250,000 men and 400-500 guns next turn. The weather is muddy but mild, the Serbs are outnumbered 3 to 1 in combat power, 2 to 1 in ...

This update will be short. Because I am tired and I just wrote a ten page essay on some mierda del toro and still have a lab report to write up later. I believe that any excess writing will cause my head to explode at this point. http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/41986699307382109/C5BB6E98E604B35B...

So first thing this turn we head to Galicia, where my armies have recovered and the Russian redeployment means I'm going to move in to siege Dubno, Lutzk, and seize Kowel. This should cut off one of the possible Russian escape routes from Poland. http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/41986699265755391...

Were fleets made more likely to retreat in 1.1?

Just something I noticed. Whereas in 1.0 fleets would frequently fight to death (also not ideal) in 1.1 they seem not to want to fight at all. Massive engagements between the whole British Grand Fleet and the HSF end with only 400 men and no ships lost when neither side is on blue or green posture. ...

No battles this turn, which while giving me a much needed respite on land is kind of annoying on the sea. The British Mediterranean fleet did not leave Gibraltar (indeed a cursory glance at the map suggests none of the British fleets moved) and as such Horthy did not get his easy victory. On the bri...

Bloodier battles and why they are better.

Hello all, I have noticed that in this new patch battles are much, much bloodier. Many have complained about it but I like this, in the current Paradox Mass game (where I am Austria-Hungary) it is October 1914 and casualties are approaching 1.5 million on all sides. In other words, just a little shy...

This turn we will start in the Balkans, where the Serbs sortied from Belgrade and stole some of my airplanes and supply wagons. This irks me, and again the Slavic troops lead by Krummer basically refuse to fight, so I send Eugen and 7. Armee down a bit early in the hopes of catching Putnik before he...

This was a turn of many battles. Some went our way, some went the Entente's way, and some were inconclusive at best. The First was the French attack on Bonn, which was decidedly a victory for the Central Powers. http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/41986499672436021/F95E6822F92E03DD06114DAD2E529F9A60...

Those who have suffered under the Russian tyranny will soon find themselves in the arms of the Hapsburgs, once the dragon has been slain of course. My forces will move in in three clusters. 5. Armee will h...

The Wrath of KHANrad: A CP view on the new Paradox OT Mass AAR

It is my sad duty to inform you, AGEOD forums, that the original Paradox OT AAR has ended after a incident that resulted in the effective surrender of the Western Entente. Luckily a sequel has been organized and I, the Austro-Hungarian player, will document its proceedings here. ____________________...

Just a tip, if you keep light cruisers in the Atlantic box on g/g evade that will do dual service of raiding and transporting a small amount of supplies. But quite enough for Heligoland.

I don't know if they should be able to completely clear a region, as that did generally take securing the land area (e.g. the Dardanelles operations), it should be easy enough for minesweepers to have an ability that gives a -66% or -75% likelihood of damage taken from mines. I also wish there as a ...

I still don't have an answer regarding my Original question on von der Goltz Pasha :p The most direct impact on Ottoman economy was the massive debts incurred by Britain and France.
