Question... Would it help to carry over the two rules from RUS? Depletion of rail pool and having to unload if enemy was present at destination. Also, as far as I recall, units fought at a disadvantage if intercepted during transit. One last suggestion: make units lose 10% cohesion per each area cro...

Late November 1915 - Belgium

Germans have finally taken Namur. Liege has fallen pretty early. Overall my western allies are hurting quite bad.

Late November 1915 - Central France

While Germans were meek in 1914, they have really advanced in 1915, especially in the last 2-3 months.

Late November 1915 - Southwest Germany

French were triumphant in 1914, and they made some headway into German territory. The battle lines have pretty much stabilized in 1915 here.

Late November 1915 - Italian front

Despite a visibly stable front line, one can see remnants of multiple daring raids deep into Austrian territory. One that is missing is Trieste: it was under siege for a couple of months.

So I tried disabling the replay, and the turn was processed. Or so I thought. None of the units moved. All the battles in the log are from the turn before. Just take a look at the image - the battle was fought in late October and the current time stamp is late November.

Early November 1915 - Rumania

Things are not going too well in Rumania. CP managed to rally over 2 dozen small stacks, and surrounded my ally. For now I am choosing to fall back to Bucharest, hoping impending snow will slow the Austrians, Bulgarians, Ottomans, and whatnot. Brasov on the northwest border of Rumania is a different...

October 17 1915 - Battle of Gole (Armenia)

My troops are trying to retreat from Kars by rail, but obviously they were not fast enough. The first wave of Turks comes; we set up for a defensive artillery barrage, and enemies retreat. The second wave comes, this one resulting in battle. My troops fall back, several regiments are lost in hasty r...

Violation access 0069BF80 in Eaw.exe

I get messages "Exception caught: Violation d'accès à l'adresse 0069BF80 dans le module 'EAW.exe'. Lecture de l'adresse 00000000 DebugStep: Replay Creation" in the Main Log, and the game stops just short of stating the turn is ready... where can I send the save file and the log?

Yeah, still not solved after numerous demands. A bit crazy, it is just a matter of a few click in two minutes to set the permissions correctly. And without AARs in the right place -> less AARs -> less free promo -> less sales. Not good :( Just post in the main AAR forum for now ;) there are 3 AARs ...

Early October 1915 - Armenia

My 4 stacks near Kars are all down to half their strength, and they are retreating. I had a stack by Tbilissi that is now out of supply, forced to forage in the mountains. And a Turkish cavalry unit just headed north to Vladikavkaz to cut off rail supply. I am redeploying another cavalry corps from ...

September 20 1915 - The massacre of Kars

This should have been an easy victory - 4 Russian stacks, clear weather and terrain, versus some infantry and supply trains with no leader. September 20 1915 - Battle of Nish

2 Serb armies meet up at Nish, attempting to retake the depot there. It is a somewhat desperate charge, an attempt to use the last sunny days and force enemy to counterattack in the snow. I go for crossfire, hoping to incur some casualties before my troops are forced to cross the river. [ATTACH]3068...

September 25 1915 - Battle of Kap Arkona (Baltic Sea)

My Baltic Sea fleet fights their own battle, unaware that a lot of ammo got spent chasing German merchants. I guess I should be happy that I only paid for this venture with 2 destroyers.

Late September 1915 - Armenia

I may have a unique chance to recover my situation on the Caucasus front. For the last month I was slowly sneaking up on Kars, fighting at occasional skirmish. Now it's still clear weather, and Kars is a step away. The main Turkish army is all the way by Tbilissi. If I pull this off, the entire Otto...

September 10 1915 - Battle of Kolo (Western Poland)

This was a hit-and-run offensive, designed to catch an enemy stack without support and retreat. In retrospect, I should have stayed away from cavalry breakthrough, as I only had 4 cossack regiments to pull it off. Killing (or wounding) the enemy commander was a nice touch, as their survivors are now...

September 8 1915 - Battle of Kielce (Southern Poland)

Background: CP created a line of single-corps stacks south of Warsaw, and I attempted to pierce them in the middle, with no enemy army that could reinforce. At least that's what I thought until I saw a 1299 stack just across the river. With the battle lasting only one round, they haven't had a chanc...

August 24 1915 - Battle of Leskovic (South Serbia)

Two Serb corps attack a single Turkish one, it is a pretty straightforward assault. Oh how I would love to establish a corridor to Rumania so I can take these amazing Serb leaders and put them in charge of Russian armies! After all, this is what Serbs have for their 3-star lineup: 7-2-7 3-3-0 3-2-4 ...

Prussia and Ruthenia are the only areas where I am making headway against CP. Of course, a river, impending fall/winter, and a good defensive lineup by Germany are not conducive to any further advances.

July 17 1915 - Baltic Sea

Russian Baltic fleet makes a daring raid into the Baltic shipping box. Despite the battle report stating 8 sunk German merchants, the actual outcome was 16 captured German merchants. Of course, most of them are in a very rough shape.
