With respect tripax I believe Pocus is referring to the anniversary of the bombardment of Fort Sumter, I admit I was a little stumped myself for awhile. Cards: I like the addition of the cards they add both flavor and choices to the game. Unit recruitment: I like the panel and I really like being ab...

Voted for To End all Wars, most appropriate for a World War 1 Game. Purchased World War One Gold and was learning my way around. Now it looks like there will be a World War 1 game with Ageod engine. (Curse you Ageod - must have it - curse you)

That is working as designed ctwino, all map counters in a region will have the sum of all combat power in the region on them. You can find it in the patch 1.03 notes under the interface section

In the Strategic Atlas there is a Map tab that shows an overview of the entire game map with units on it, along with filters to show/hide units. Using the mouse you can get a toll tip which says which units are in a stack. Hope that this is helpful.

Completely agree WW1G does an excellent job on the Great War, you get feel of it while playing it. I support the idea of these mods being made into an official patch.

Thinking of buying

I was thinking of repurchasing World War One for my newer computer I have been looking around for information as WWI gold is indicated as being an update kit. My question then is: Is World War One Gold now a stand-alone game or do you still need the original game? Thanks for any information on this ...

I was playing the CSA side of the scenario and had that issue with one (or more) militia units I would have to check at the time I reasoned that it was a Texas State militia and could not be moved from Texas. I could move other militia units from the state.
